Today's soldiers need to have a modern means of communication at their fingertips in order to orientate themselves in a combat environment and receive the necessary instructions. In any case, the soldier's combat armor remains one of the most important factors in enhancing combat effectiveness and reducing personnel losses in the performance of combat tasks. Thus, there is an urgent need to equip servicemen with combat outfit complexes (CBCs) that will ensure effective execution of the assigned missions and preserve the lives and health of servicemen.
The effectiveness of full armor
Full armor will increase the effectiveness of their actions when performing combat tasks, in particular, in case of disruption of information exchange in combat, increase the mobility and survivability of soldiers (units), etc.
As far back as in the 50s, the concept of separation of combat and auxiliary equipment emerged in the USA - A soldier must carry the essentials for successful combat. Anything that can be done without or can be delivered by other means remains.
The application of this principle in practice made it possible to reduce the weight and volume of portable equipment (which greatly increased mobility) and also made it possible to combine different pieces of ammunition depending on the nature of the task at hand.
Quality full armor
Modern requirements to the quality of tactical equipment are quite high. There are a number of standards that all leading manufacturers of combat equipment adhere to.
First of all, quality equipment should be durable, hard-wearing, lightweight, with high abrasion resistance and flame retardant. Recent developments have shown that plastic, which has long replaced metal in the manufacture of fittings, is also characterized by considerable strength, low weight, sufficient strength, high heat and frost resistance.
The most successful invention in the field of increasing the functionality of equipment, convenience and comfort was the modular system of carrying when the soldier carries out a combat mission individually or as part of a group.
The main advantage of modularity is the possibility to easily combine a set of items and accessories needed for a specific combat mission (a specific specialty of a serviceman), while adhering to the principle of uniformity of equipment placement in the group.
